Tokayev dismisses 'Penaltystan' label as narrow-minded, vows tougher law enforcement
ALMATY. June 2 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Tuesday brushed off critics who label Kazakhstan 'Shtrafstan' or 'Penaltystan' over its law-and-order policies, calling them narrow-minded, and vowed to intensify the crackdown on offenses.
