Kazakhstan moves toward partial ban on wheat imports to shield domestic growers

ASTANA. June 17 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Kazakhstan is preparing to restrict wheat imports for six months in a bid to support local farmers facing pressure from cheap grain imports, the Agriculture Ministry said Wednesday.
